Childify should be easy to use for every family, child and instructor.
Our approach
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
- Pages work with a keyboard, with a "Skip to main content" link and visible focus outlines.
- Text and controls are designed with strong color contrast, and pages work when text is enlarged.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions, and decorative pictures are hidden from screen readers.
Sessions
- Video sessions run in the browser, with no extra software to install.
- Families can tell us about any access needs, and we will take them into account when matching an instructor.
